Spring Foraging Tours
Every year we are excited to announce our Spring Foraging Tours.
For those who share our passion for local delicacies, it’s time to get out of hibernation and find some Vancouver Island wild edibles.
This is not your average picnic! It’s time once again for fun foraging adventures in the wilds of Sooke, BC. Join us for a three-course gourmet meal in the woods. We spend a couple hours gathering wild edibles like wild arugula, stinging nettles, mountain sweet cicely, ox-eye daisy, fiddle heads, Sea Asparagus, salmon berries…oyster and Morel mushrooms if we’re lucky. Then cook it up al fresco.
We are proud to partner up with Foragers Gallery & Lance Wildcraft to bring you on an adventure of life time.
After a few hours of foraging, we will prepare a three-course gourmet lunch on location – creating seasonal dishes that highlight the earthy flavours of Vancouver Island.
Join an existing tour date or gather your own adventurous group. The cost is $95 per person, taxes included.

If you know anything about mushroom picking, you know not to tell anyone your picking spots! We on the other hand, feel sharing our love for these amazing ingredients is our calling and we believe as long as we respect our environment and take care of mother nature, it will continue to bless us with the bounty of mushrooms.
This is not your average hike. You are the hunter and your prize is the bounty of the beautiful British Columbia, Chanterelles, Pine Mushrooms, Lobster Mushrooms, Porcini and many more!
We spend a couple of hours learning about how to find and harvest edible mushrooms, then we share some of the treasure trove and prepare an amazing three-course lunch that highlights the earthy flavours of the mushrooms – outdoors on location. And yes, you get to take some mushrooms home with you!
