Our Story
House of Boateng thrives under the ownership of a dynamic duo, Chef Castro and Charlotte Boateng. Their journey began in 2010 when they embarked on their first culinary venture as a humble catering company, nestled in Saanich, British Columbia. Over the years, their dedication and entrepreneurial spirit has continued to blossom.
In September of 2019, the business expanded beyond catering to open House of Boateng (HOB) Café, a beloved brunch restaurant in the municipality of Langford, BC. Two years later, Chef Castro and Charlotte launched their retail shop featuring their famous collection of sauces, spreads, and pre-prepared meals to go. Fuelled by their boundless creativity and unwavering commitment to fostering community partnerships and culinary excellence, they continue to enrich the vibrant culinary landscape of Vancouver Island.
