About the Role
House of Boateng is currently seeking a full time Server to join our amazing culinary team. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Excellent time management and communications skills
• Knowledgable of Touch Bistro or similar restaurant POS
• Minimum 1-year experience working in a similar position
• Team player
• Completion of Secondary School
• Serve it Right Certificate
• Customer Service
This full time position offers:
• $18.00 per hour and 4% vacation pay plus tips
• $500 for Health Benefits
• 25% discount at House of Boateng Café
• 25% discount at HOB Fine Foods
• 10% discount at for retail 25% discount at 900° Pizza
• 10% discount at all Bread-and-Butter Collective restaurants
• After one year of employment, House of Boateng will provide financial assistance for further wine
education and development
Requirements
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
Counter Server
Running food
Greeting and serving customer
Clearing and cleaning tables
Making and serving drinks
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
Lead by example (your work ethic encourages others to work hard)
Responsible for sending daily reports including staff hours to Chef & Chef Assistant
May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
